Preschool - Englewood UMC offers one
of the finest preschools in the city for children ages 2– 4 years. Enrollment is
limited and is offered on first come first serve basis. Contact the preschool
for openings -(252) 937-7991.
Logos – Logos is held each Wednesday
night for 26 weeks from September through the first week of May. Logos is a
Bible study, meal time, recreation, and worship skills for children and young
people K through 12th grade. The times are 5:15 until 8:15 PM.
UMYF – ( Youth ministries grades 6 through
12) - Meets every Sunday night for dinner, fun, fellowship, and
worship. There are also annual retreats, lock-ins, outings, and much, much more!
The times are 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
Disciple II - This is a study with a prerequisite of Disciple I for enrollment. It is a 35 week commitment. This study meets on Sunday from 7:00 – 9:30 PM
Christian Believers - This is a Bible and Doctrinal study that has a 31 week commitment and meets on Thursday evening from 7:00 – 9:30 PM.
United Methodist Men
(UMM) - This is for men of all ages. The monthly meeting is on
the second Tuesday evening of each month. Men have the Peanut project to aid in
many areas of mission work.
United Methodist Women (UMW) - UMW is divided into four Circles that meet at various times. There are day and evening Circles available. The ladies work in many mission projects both locally and around the world.
Senior Adult Fellowship - This is a group of exciting older adults that meet for lunch, other activities, and special trips on the third Wednesday of each month at 12:00 Noon in the Fellowship Hall.
Dinners for Eight - This is an opportunity to join with a group of eight people to have dinner one evening a month for a four month period. This helps get newer people aquainted with the Church family.
Emmaus Community - We are part of the Emmaus
Community and have several reunion groups functioning each week. Please visit http://rtpnet.org/~emmaus/ for more

Prayer Shawl Ministry - Women of all ages are involved in making prayer shawls for people to celebrate the gift of love, friendship, and caring. Read more about this important EUMC ministry!
Choirs - There are several choirs to chose from. The Chancel Choir meets for practice very Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM. There are also two youth choirs, "Song Birds" and "One Voice". Contact Jesse Shearin for more information on joining one of our youth choirs.
Handbells - The Adult Handbell Choir meets to practice on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 PM. The Handbell choir plays during many of the Worship services and especially at special holiday times.
Missions - Englewood UMC is very active in Mission Ministries. We work with Interfaith Hospitality Network, The Pregnancy Care Center, My Sister’s House, The Mission, as well as other local and world wide mission projects. These projects can be hands on projects or projects with financial donations.
Art Camps & Hand Bell Camps - These are held at special times during the year. Watch for these on the Feature Page.
Camping Ministry is an important part of the overall mission and teaching of the church. We are in close contacts and use all of our Methodist Camps. Check them on line at the connection for http://www.nccumc.org/.
